ABOUT KAT

I didn't set out to become an endometriosis practitioner.

I became one because I needed answers too.

I'm Kat Smith, a Nutritional Therapist and Advanced Nutrigenomics Practitioner specialising in endometriosis.

Long before ENDOCODE existed, I was the patient who couldn't understand why nobody could explain what was happening in my own body.

That experience changed the direction of my life and eventually, the way I believe endometriosis care should be done.

MY STORY

IMG_0025_edited.jpg

I know what it's like to be the patient looking for answers.

There’s so much information, and it often conflicts.

Diets. Supplements. Hormones. Exercise. Surgery. Testing. Social media advice.

I was diagnosed with stage IV endometriosis in 2009, after years of symptoms and searching for an explanation.

What followed were more surgeries, medications, appointments, tests and conflicting advice.

And still, nobody seemed able to explain the question I really wanted answered:

Why was this happening in my body, and what could I actually do about it?

Eventually I realised I didn't want to spend the rest of my life handing responsibility for my health to somebody else and hoping for the best.

So I went back to university and started learning for myself.

THE TURNING POINT

Understanding the biology changed everything.

I trained in biochemistry and nutritional therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

But it was my later training in nutrigenomics that fundamentally changed the way I understood endometriosis.

For the first time, I could see why two people with the same diagnosis might respond completely differently to the same food, supplement or intervention.

Genetics wasn't another wellness trend or another list of things to avoid.

It was a way of replacing guesswork with information.

That became the foundation of ENDOCODE: understanding the individual biology behind the person, rather than treating every woman with endometriosis as though she is the same.

Endo care should be

not one size-fits-all.

Your biology is unique

The right support matters

Your deserve to understand

True health takes the whole you

Your diagnosis may be the same. Your biology isn't.

personal,

More supplements isn't necessarily better. The right intervention matters more.

We need to know why we're doing something, not just be handed another protocol.

Good endometriosis care should give you more agency over your health, not more fear about food or your body.

my approach

Because credentials aren't the whole story...

I'm straight talking

I won't give you a fashionable answer because it's what you want to hear.

I'm curious to the point of obsession

If something doesn't make biological sense, I want to know why.

I don't do wellness perfection

Your plan has to work in actual human life.

And yes, I can be sweary

You'll survive.

Ready to stop guessing?

You don't need another generic endo protocol. Let's work out what makes sense for you.
